Song of the Day: School Days by Chuck Berry

Hello all! It’s Friday! Woo! I’m looking forward to this weekend because I’m actually staying in my city and I won’t be visiting my parents. I’ll finally have some time to get things organized around the house. Spring cleaning at my apartment is long over due. I’m also looking forward to getting some reading done. I haven’t been been able to sit down with a good book in a while.
I haven’t done Friday Fives in a while, but today the fantastic bloggers over at Paper Hangover asks,
“What are your FIVE favorite “back to school” books?
I must confess, I’m not sure what this topic means, but I made a list of the books I that I read during my “back to school” days after summer vacation.
1. Sweet Valley Twins by Francine Pascal
2. The Baby-sitters Club by Ann M. Martin
3. Nancy Drew by Mildred Wirt Benson
4. Amelia Bedilia by Peggy Parish
5. Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls
Have a great weekend everyone!

OMG – I so loved the SVH series! And the Baby-sitters Club? Oh, you're bringin' me back! Loved.
But Where the Red Fern Grows…yeah, that one has to be my favorite from your list.
Have a great weekend, Racquel!!!

At first I thought it meant books centered around going back to school.
I only read a few Sweet Valley High books, but I loved them.

Baby-sitter's club! That and Fear Street were my go-to books when I was a teen! So amazing how different YA is now compared to 10+ years ago. I'm kinda jealous.
