Hello all! How did everyone brave the week? I have been miserable for most of it due to this cold that turned into the flu. I’m getting better, but I’m still not 100%. I’m really hoping it goes away within the next few days as I need to start preparing for National Novel Writing Month, not to mention the release of Black Fox‘s issue #2! I’ll try the “getting my life together thing” again this weekend. But that’s only if I can get rid of this bug.

I like the Corduroy books, though I didn't discover them until I was grown up.
Amelia Bedelia– man, in retrospect, how did she manage to keep that job? If it wasn't for her excellent cooking, she so would have been canned. I LOVED those books. :0)

The only one I never read as a kid (as far as I remember) is Corduroy. The rest I loved.
I never read any Amelia Bedelia until we had kids. Great stuff–really funny, even when you can see the misunderstanding coming a mile away.

I was SO excited to meet the so of the Berenstein Bears creators – I learned to read on those books. I even did a guest post for Baffled Books about them lol.
I never read Miss Nelson is Missing but I loved the other ones too. 🙂
My ultimate favorite book was an anthology I had of the Grimm Brothers. It was a collection of all their fairy tales. I also loved Aesop's Fables. Those stories stuck in my head and I still remember them fondly.
