Hello All! Last Blog post of the year! Woot Woot! How are you ending the year? Are you getting any writing done today? Now is the time to tie up any loose threads. To you I say, you can still submit! End the year with a bang by knowing you did something good for your writing. I will be submitting today and I will be writing. I would like to end the year right and bring in a new year by doing what I love. You should too. Even if you don’t submit anything today, you can always start tomorrow. It’s the perfect day for a fresh start. The list is a little short today, because I have much to do. There is, however, something on the list for everyone. Happy New Year dear readers and see you again in the New Year!
Calls for Submissions:
1. Love Story Anthology
Love on the Road 2013 will be an anthology of stories about making connections, from heartfelt ones ending in weddings, to less high-minded ones ending in beds (or wherever). Half the stories will be about travelers meeting someone far from home, and the other half about people meeting travelers passing through. Judges will pick the stories that will win the cash prizes of $200, $100 and $50. Submit your 5,000-word story by March 31, 2013. Reading fee is $10.
