Song of the Day: Dreams by The Cranberries

Hello all! How was the weekend? I had a great weekend because one of my best friends got married. I was a bridesmaid in the wedding. It was beautiful! I also got some great news on Thursday. I received a letter stating that my story Baby Broker, will be published in the April issue of Blink-Ink. The story had been rejected three times before, so I was very excited that it had finally been accepted. Which leads me to my next point. If you’re submitting your work to various markets, DON’T GIVE UP! Keep at it. Just because a piece is rejected doesn’t mean there isn’t a home for it. Keep truckin’! Submit, submit!

Congratulations!! I've been focusing so much on writing my novel that I haven't been writing short stories for submission. At some point between novels, I should write more short stories and try sending them around.
