Hello all! It’s been a busy summer. I recently finished up a second round of revisions for my novel and I’m waiting to hear back from some of my critique partners. I just wanted to share some writing/publication news. I received an acceptance letter for my short story, “Burial,” from Lotus-Eater Literary Magazine. It will be published this fall. It’s a new magazine based in Rome, Italy, so I’m quite excited.
Just a little background: the story was rejected more times than I care to admit. I’ve been writing on my blog for years, and this is exactly what I’ve been trying to tell writers. Do not give up, no matter what. Keep perfecting the craft, keep submitting your work and keep dreaming. Writing success is yours if you really want it.
